School uniforms are always in demand – all seasons and throughout an year. People spend a considerable part of their income to buy uniforms for their kids. The entire year and specially during the time of new academic session, the demand for uniforms rises. However, there are some things which should be though-well before buying them for your kids.

    1. Long tails: Many school uniforms in Australia have an extra long-tail in the shirts that they produce. These extra tails are manufactured to make sure that the shirt stays tucked inside the pants or skirts. As we know, uniforms are followed as a part of disciplinary practice of the school, long tails keep the uniforms intact. We all know that students are expected to keep their shirts tucked-in to look mannered. Long tails make students look proper and disciplined.

    2. Pen pockets: Though use of computers have taken away the practice of writing, yet the charm of pens and pencils cannot be denied. Majorly in schools, kids are expected to write down important things. Uniforms with pen pockets can help the kids in keeping pens and other important things for their school. Often, most parents neglect this simple and small pocket, but this should be considered equally important.

    3. Anti-microbial technology: There are a number of school uniform dealers in Australia who combine anti-bacterial technology in their garments. Using this technology, the accumulation of bacteria subsides considerably which results in less body odor. The integration of this technology in the garments prevents parents from washing these uniforms again and again.

    4. Fabric: This is the most important thing to consider before purchasing uniforms for kids. Ideally, preference should be given to a combination of polyester and cotton or 100% cotton fabrics. Using either of the two combinations results in comfortable and durable uniforms.
